Afternoon all. Thanks everyuone for the kind words and hugs yesterday.
DW (or should that just be W) has agreed to talk tonight, but we've been here before only for her to cancel at the last minute. In fact she's tried to back out of tonight already, but at the moment, I think we're still due to have that talk.
Still not sleeping. Last night, I would doze for about 35-40 minutes, then wake up for half an hour. Eventually got up at 5 and cleaned the house top to bottom before I left for work.
Charged my phones on the train this morning, then left my charger behind . I'd forget my head lately. I do have a spare one, but liked this one as it was one that had a separate plug socket and USB cable. My spare is the old-fashioned type.
Today I have/will
Checked online banking. Pay day is tomorrow so I've set up a few payments bettween accounts to go out tomorrow.
Free parking at local station then rail pass into work
Free newspapers on train
Brought lunch from home
Dinner from stores (depending on when and how long DW wants to talk)
Free tea/coffee/water at work
Have a great day everyoneDebt free since December 2015. It can be done0 -
Afternoon all. Thanks for strating us Sunshine, congrats to Natlie - was thinking of you yesterday weather here was awful, with a big thunderstorm in the afternoon. Glad it was fine with you.
Great to see some old regulars posting back too - Welsh and La E - we've missed you (although I must admit to lots more lurking than posting:o - some days my lists would look soooo lame in comparision
)
My list for today:- Lunch from leftovers/stores - suprisingly nice gnocchi and chilli
- tea from menu plan
- tomorrow's tea marinating
- pop to mr t and exchange some vouchers for a couple of toys for gifts, some baby things and some cat food
- have a nap

- working from home, so need ot be productive - 1 lots of washing done on airer
- check banking - update spreadsheet
- do expenses ready for authorising - including a meal boss said DH & I could have for organising an event (DH doesn't work for the company) We went away for a long since planned weekend last weekend and ate at the hotel - to be re-imbursed by work :j Even better was we ate there on the first night too as had been gifted some money for meal, but, hotel made a mistake and put us as DBB, so we got £80 credit to our bill :T
- Anyway, I digress, check 1poll, only a few £ to go, but, boy is it hard work. The amount I have been screened out off  Not sure I'll have the energy to do another £40 after this one.
- Dig out gift bag from my 'pre-loved' collection for gift for friends new baby

Not managed much today as both me and LO have been "cheesed off", went for a little walk in the rain but that didnt help, lol. We called at McD's for lunch (LO's fave and a treat) and then bought a bunch of roses for an old friend (both in age and how long I've known her) who's been going through a bit of a tough time over the last few years - that cheered me up. Just wish I was in the position where I could do more for other people, nothing extravagant or outrageous, just random acts of kindness - will ponder over this more and see what I can do within my meansGoodreads 2025 Challenge :16/75

Kindness makes it all worthwhile sometimes Ziggy, just those little random acts that make us all human. Have you seen the thread on here? Must bump it as it must have fallen off page 1 over the weekend.Make £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020
