Car insurance address, different to DVLA Licence address?
My DVLA driving licence address is in one location, (which will be that for 3 more years)
but i am going to be at a new temporarily address for a 1.5 year work placement... and my yearly car insurance is due.
This new address is 2 hours from the old one.
for my car insurance renewal, should i write this 'new address'....which is where I wil be at on the date of renewal?
or can just leave the address of my DVLA licence (which is what I have always put as the car insurance address) ?
-on the basis that I am temporarily away?
in other words, if my 'car insurance' address doesn't match my DVLA licence address...is that ok?
. and lets say the worse case scenario, i make a clam?
or don't the car insurance people link themselves to your DVLA licence address? and don't car?

The insurance should be in the "temporar" address because that's what they'll base the risk on. If something happens in the new area and they find out that you've insured based on somewhere else they're quite likely to consider it a "material fact" that you've misled them on, even if the new area is a lower risk than the old.
Your driving licence should also be changed to your current (new) address, but as long as any correspondence to the old one will reach you promptly that's not likely to be a problem/0 -
What address will the car be kept at, the new address where you will be for the next 18 months?"You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"
