Hello all @ MSE!
I have my new sofas coming tomorrow and i'm having a small panic attack that the sofa's will not fit through the small door! If this is the case I will need to get them in through the window.
I need to know if there is a quick, safe and easy way to remove (and replace) the glass from the frame. I have googled it but not much came up.
Any advice/responces welcome!
Thanks!

If the window is internally beaded it will be easy enough, just take the beads out carefully and there will be glazing packers positioning the glass units. make a sketch of where they are, for putting them back in. if its externally beaded the chances are you will have some kind of double sided tape holding the units in place. Its not hard to remove but you will have to renew the tape. You sure you will get it through the openings? I have removed complete windows for furniture but never just the glazing?0

^^
I think the window is externally beaded, will I get the tape from DIY shop (B&Q etc)?
The windows glazing is really big. I have measured up and it will go through.
I did phone the place where i'm getting it from and they said you will be surprized at what the delivery guys can get through doorways but i'm just being safe!

if the window is externally glazed all you need to do is release the glazing tape from the glass use a putty knife and run it round the inside of the window behind the glass , then remove the glazing beads and have someone on the inside and push gently on the glass and remove .
you might be able to get glazing tape from b@q oor you could try a local window company or trade counter.0 -
also get a rubber hammer for putting the glazing bars back in.
get em for a quid at the cheapo pound shop!Get some gorm.0 -
Also remember that if you can easily remove the glass panels from the outside then a burglar can easily do the same.0
