Hi Everyone
Today I received a couple of emails from HSBC asking me to validate my email address. Has anyone else received these and are they genuine?

Couldn't have said it better myself!
Its either the above, or someone has all your details and is setting up a HSBC bank account as you. I assume you keep an eye on your credit file?0 -
I've lost count of the number I've had. And I don't have an account with HSBC either.
Just delete and ignore. And do the same with any other emails asking you to click on a link.0 -
The official line is to forward the emails to phishing@hsbc.com, then delete them.
