Hiya

Hubby finally had his P60. Our income 2010-2011 was £31767 joint and this is what they based our 2011-2012 CTC on. From Oct 11-April 12 we got £45 per month. From April onwards we werent entitled to any.

So my P60 was total for year was £11722 and hubbys was £17189 = £28911. Also I was on maternity leave from 19th sept 2011 ongoing (end of tax year ?april 5th) so I believe they take off £100 per week for each week of maternity which would be £28911 - £2900 = £26011. Is this the amount they would say for last years earnings?

If so this means it is approx £5756 less than what they estimated our CTC on so I am guessing we are due a small back payment for last years?

Is anyone on approx 26k joint and sorry to be nosey but how much CTC did you get per month for last year?

Every little helps so I am hoping they owe us a little, specially as we arent entitled anymore. Lol. I cant use this years calculator to work out what they owe us may be due to the rules changing.

Thanks!!

ADDED: We have 1 baby and both work full time (I will be dropping 7 hours when I go back this month after 10 weeks SMP in this tax year). We arent entitled to WTC.

Been looking and seems there may be some sort of bracket for 2011-2012 so anyone earning between I think 22k-40k all get the same payment possibly which is the £45 per month we were getting which I think means we wont be owed anything. I could be wrong though.
