My plum tree is 2 years old and had lots of little plums on it until yesterday I noticed it had gotten sick. Some yellow leaves, some leaves with brown marks on, and fruit gone to like kidney bean shape, and brown. Tried researching the net but couldnt pin it down, could be brown rot I guess but the fruit is not mumified??? I took all of the nasty looking bits off and distroyed 'em, is there an expert out ther please? TIA

Yellow leaves on most plants indicate poor chlorophyll take up.

That can be caused by many things, from incorrect nutrients to excessive watering. In light of the recent weather, id first put my money on the roots are sopping wet.

Plum trees are also susceptible to Brown rot, and the cold grey weather is the ideal conditions, but is that were the case you'd have evidence of fluffy mould on the stems. Brown rot causes blossom blight , twig blight, twig canker, and fruit rot

A photo of a diseased leaf or two would help. Does it look like THIS:
