I thought you might like to see these...any ideas on why the seeds on the strawberry have germinated?

my plant science is near non existent, but new hybrids can crop up without human intervention, (in stawbs more than most I believe) though extremely rarely
(the above may be complete tosh btw)
cant see a plant like that having any commercial potential, unless the taste is utterly divine, though how it happened and its genetic make uo may help research in to perfecting the ultimate strawbFreedom is the freedom to say that 2+2 = 4 (George Orwell, 1984).

Thanks for the comments, I got my niece to hold it on the jubilee day as I thought her red dress looked lovely in the background!
I don't think it would taste great or be good for anything really but it's certainly unusual and I'm not sure why it's grown like that!
