    The national fruit collection is at Brogdale - e-mail your odd strawberry to sallyroger@brogdalecollections.co.uk (I think that's a sensible place to send to - I couldn't find the ideal e-mail address).

    yes. Potatoes do the same thing occasionally, but i cant remember what its called. Plant them, lots of free strawb plants!!!
