Thanks Hanoijane - I am not that familiar with upgrading - it looks like i could upgrade for about £22 with the PC World 256mb then?
Yep, you can upgrade using the £22 ram from PC World. Most people who bought the PB 6100 Easynote for £289 have done this. Walk into PC World, £22 later you're up to 512MBs ram. The ram's easy to get to on the laptop, too. Should be a cover on the underside of the laptop, held down by a few screws. Undo it, slot ram in, do it back up again. That's it. Make sure you've taken the battery out first, and also put the lappy on a towel or something, to prevent damage to the top.
One final word, though: when I bought my Dell Inspiron, with 256MBs ram, it came in 2 128MB sticks. Pain in the bum.
