How to read PDF

I have been sent an e-mail with a copy of a letter attached,it is in PDF format and when i open it a lot of letters,numbers and symbols appear making it impossible to read,how do i convert it so it is in English and readable.

I have adobe reader but everything opens with open office,how do i change it please.It is a PDF text file.0

Save the file to your desktop, right click on the file & select "open with..."
Choose Adobe (or whatever PDF app you use)Beeeeees!!0 -
Go for Foxit Reader, it walks all over Adobe.
