My buyers lender had the valuation carried out on my property a week ago and used e. surv

When I got home today there was a message on my answer machine from e.surv, asking me to call them. Fearing there had been some kind of oversight I called them back, only to find all they actually wanted was to try to sign me up as a customer for the survey on the property I was buying. I really dislike these kind of tactics & don't consider it very professional.

When the surveyor came to do the lenders valuation last week I found him rather pompous as I'd told him he would need to remove his shoes or wear shoe covers to go upstairs in my house, as I don't allow shoes to be worn on my carpets, which were fitted 3yrs ago.

I always keep shoe covers handy should any tradesmen need to go upstairs. Anyway, his response was that he wouldn't consider taking his shoes off to walk on anybodies carpets as he has no idea what muck and stuff could be on them. And me a very clean and houseproud person, living alone and only every wearing slippers indoors. What an insulting thing to say

Oh dear e.surv, this just ain't the way to win customers and influence people.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.
