Student/Working Single mum HELP!

Hey folks, I have a question! I have been trawling the internet for ages and getting nowhere! Basically I am a single mum to a 7 year old, I work part time and now im going to start a full time SVQ course at college. Can anyone help with an idea of what money I will get to help? I dont want to go down the route of a few weeks to go before I start then find out im going to be worse off. Any help appreciated, thanks x :D oh im in scotland if that makes any difference? :-/

Will you be carrying on with your part time job whilst you study?

Your income should stay exactly as it is, provided you keep working for a minimum of 16 hours a week. Studying on top of this has no effect whatsoever unless it's at degree level and you receive student funding.

Speak to the college to see if they offer any bursaries and if so, whether you'd qualify.
