in Credit cards
Hello all - have been meaning to register for ages - I'm about to go through the process of looking over all my credit history as I have been denied credit cards for years - I've sort of considered it a blessing
however, now I need to pay for some stuff for my business, and require a credit card or a loan - I want to see my credit history as I have lived in some pretty poorly managed rental and shared places with awful council tax organisation and my name has gone on a few bills along the way etc... I've had fines on my accounts etc. but I really need to clear all this before moving forward... however, I just went through the cashback codes link to Equifax, and when you click through to the 'Free Credit Report' link, the link is down... this is the site - can anyone else get it to work? - > I'm not allowed to post the link right now as I am a newby...
Would appreciate if someone knew anything more than me about the web and what not, exactly what this means?
Thank you,
Rowan Butters

You can get your Equifax report free
http://www.equifax.co.uk/?utm_campaign=Brand&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=bing
If you take out this offer you will normally supply payment details for future reports. I would possibly prefer sort code/ acc no in preference to a card no if you are intending to cancel as this is generally easier.
If you are trying to get cashback from doing this (good on you) but can't really help apart from saying to keep trying for a day or 2 if you are not in a hurry.
Also look at

If you are getting cashback, go on quidco or TCB, find the company and link to site. Even if the link doesnt work you can open a claim, supply them the username you created and they can track it that way, no problems.SwagBucks Challenge: 402/849

Better to just pay £2 to get the statutory report, you should get your Experian report as well. I personally don't bother with CallCredit but if you really want the full picture you should get their report too.
