Buildings Insurance (specialist)

Hi guys. I have recently purchased a former nursing home and am looking to get buildings insurance (and am hoping to get planning permission to convert the propert into flats). Can you guys recommend any good insurers for this type of property? As the property has over 10 bedrooms, gocompare only comes up with 2 quotes (both of which are inaccurate when I actually go to the websites!) Thanks

Maybe try http://www.adrianflux.co.uk/household-insurance/
or
http://www.homeprotect.co.uk/home-insurance.aspx
Whilst I can't see your specific needs on their websites, the may be able to help you as the deal with non standard insurance.0 -
Are you a property developer ?
Will you be contracting the tradesmen yourself or will you use an overall subcontractor eg you pay just one company?
Is the property in a good condition eg weather proof ?
Be aware that it will not be cheap to insure0
