Balance Transfer With Poor Credit Rating

I'm looking at transfering a balance of 4500 from a virginmoney mastercard onto another card, I think I have a poor credit rating due to me living in my overdraft. Can anyone advise me the best way to go? I have applied and failed to get a tesco card and a abbey card. I do have an egg card and capital one card with no outstanding balance.

you need to check your credit record with the CRA and see what's on them.
living within your OD limit wont adversely affect your credit rating.
if you do indeed have a poor credit rating then you are unlikely to get low APR credit card.
If you have already applied for cards recently then wait a few months before applying again.0
