Morning Badger - How goes it? Did you have a good weekend ? xx2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.

Good morning :j
Had a good weekend, we got our "new" fridge/freezer on Saturday OH had to borrow an estate car from work and it only just fit in it. Really chuffed with it, they only used it for 5 weeks so it's practically brand new.
In total we've managed to get a brand new washer and a near enough brand new F/F for about the same price as a washer:money:
The people selling it lived near RAF Conningsby, just as we were driving past the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight was taking off, so we pulled over and watched
Just watching a bit of telly then I'll start on today's flylady.

Hello :hello:
Yes really pleased with our bargains, had to travel a bit for the F/F but didn't cost too much because we borrowed a diesel and it was nice drive out as well.
Had a bit of a clear out yesterday, took two bags to the charity shop and have started listing a few bits on ebay. Have more stuff to list but if I do a few bits at a time then I won't get as annoyed with it especially parcelling up & posting them.
Back at work today so I won't be "flying" but today's list is mainly for the bedroom which I did yesterday anyway
Only 3 days at work this week :j the footy season starts on Saturday, we're away and we don't normally travel to away games (unless they're not too far away) but we love the area the other team are from so have booked a B&B we've used a couple of times before and are going to make a weekend of it.
I paid off another £5 to my Tesco CC yesterday :T I joined up to the payment a week challenge when I first signed up, but didn't actually take part so I've started now and have paid extra for the last 2 weeks :money:
Only need to pay another £100 and the washer will be paid off:o
OH paid for the F/F so I suggested that I pay off the washer rather than him giving me money for that & me giving him money for the F/F. Once that is paid off I'm going to add the two CCs to my signature, I think it will help motivate me seeing the totals coming down each week/month.
Hope everyone has a good day:ALBM 24/05/2012 :TAugust NSD 10/12 * £2 savers0 -
Hello,
Yes it's lovely selling the things on ebay, but the parcelling up and posting does get boring
Welldone to the extra payment it's amazing how quickly all those little payments add up.
Hope you are having a good day

Well literally about 10 minutes after posting this I got a phone call from Mum to tell me my Grandad (Dad's Dad) had had a stroke
Managed to get to the hospital and visit in the afternoon and seems OK, he just doesn't have the use of his left arm atm but everything else like speech seems alright?
Will know more today I think.LBM 24/05/2012 :TAugust NSD 10/12 * £2 savers0 -
