My NSD challenge for July is failing miserably
glad to see the night shifts are over!

Hi Badger, not been on to say hello for a while. Good work on the NSD :j , I'm not going to quite make mine this month. August has got to be better spending wise. I really want to get sub £10k before the end of "summer":D
Its not quite the same, but when I worked in a bar my body clock was all over the place so I completely understand how you feel! It feels so much better to have 9-5ish routine.
Looking forward to the GP later? xTotal: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom0 -
Hi Pencakes good to "see" you again. Hope you're okay?
GP was alright, shame about Jenson dropping down, he doesn't sound like he's too happy with McLaren atm!! Pleased Lewis won though.
I'd love a Mon-Fri job, but where I am now pays pretty well for the area so I'll stick it out for now.
NSDs not gone well over the weekend
definitely won't one tomorrow so fingers crossed for Tuesday to meet my target.
A new clothes shop has opened where I live and popped in yesterday
spent £30 but got a pretty blouse and some jeggings - probably shouldn't have but our town is mostly empty shops or take aways so I want to support them.
Bought a new curtain pole today, I think that's everything for the living room so we can start decorating next weekend.LBM 24/05/2012 :TAugust NSD 10/12 * £2 savers0 -

Good morning
Fae I'm not really looking forward to the decorating (probably why it hasn't been done yet!!) I like the buying involved though
DFW321 Sorry just seen your earlier post, I'm up in North Lincolnshire (nr the Humber) I do love it round here. Moved up from Kent when I was 5 as Dad is from Lincs and wanted to be back. I can't really imagine living anywhere else now.
Good luck your NSDs :T
I should be on for my last one today, going to get OH to buy a Euro millions ticket (I won't be able to get one as it will be past the cut off when I get in from work
)
Had a great day yesterday, did touristy stuff at the seaside with best friend & her little girl - the stuff I don't usually do as we live 30 mins away so it's not a big deal for us to go but my friend lives in the Midlands now so her little girl doesn't get to to the seaside much so absolutely loves it.
Spent about £16 but that included a nice bit of haddock for lunch
Felt absolutely shattered when I got home - must have been all that sea air (and building some sandcastles :rotfl:) 6am came round far too soon this morning!!LBM 24/05/2012 :TAugust NSD 10/12 * £2 savers0 -

Fae
It was great, I'm not too bothered about chip shop chips but you can't beat a nice bit haddock, but you can batter it
:rotfl: *ahem*
I joined up to the fly lady thread on the OS board as I'm really rubbish at housework. Not doing bad so far...
Paid off £95 off my Tesco CC yesterday, this was from the £100 from Halifax for "switching" had to leave £5 in the acc for one of the DDs.
I know I put the new washing machine on there as well but that will be paid off in 2 months, so counting this as a bonus payment :j
Off to a footy match tonight :footie: but gave OH the money for this on Monday (only a fiver because it's pre-season) so I can still count today as a NSD
