New intermittently noisy Samsung Washing Machine

Hi guys and gals
Bought my mum a new washing machine as her bosch gave u the ghost....
I bought her the Samsung WF0702 from comet..... it's arrive today and is spot on, but it is intermittently louder than I'd expect... even compared to the 10 year old Bosch we had
I've removed the transit bolts and followed the instructions etc
Comet say that we have 7 days to return an item... I thought it was 28 days for things? statutory rights and all...I've double checked their website, it says for faulty large white good it is the manufacturers responsiblity.... can i insist that comet give us an exchange?
