Natwest/RBS, CC with both?

Looking for a new CC for the car insurance this year, I already have a card with Natwest, can i apply for an RBS one or is this not allowed?

I have a CC with RBS (balance transfer card earlier this year) and successfully got their new purchases card this month (RBS again, not Natwest). Healthy credit limits on both.

Wasn't sure at the time if my chances would be better if I went for "the other one" or one where they already knew me.

it is certainly possible to have more than one RBS-stable card at a time
