hi there we bought the above for a recent holiday near Reus in spain and I now need to use it to get from Leeds to somewhere in manchester and it still thinks we're in spain. Please can you tell me how to reset it as i don't know where our instructions are and looked at an online manual but couldn't find what to do. thankjs

  • Try leaving it turned on for as long as possible somewhere it can 'see' the satellites, in a window for example, it will probably find them in a while and fire itself up properly.

Good satnav that, i have the same model.

well it's been on for about half an hour and still no joy. I thought I might be possible to reset it to our home but doesn't seem to want to. yes it seems a good one - was a godsend when we arrived late at night at Reus airport and had to find our hotel which was right in the centre of the old town. Would have been OK but it was the main night of their Easter procession and when we actually reached the hotel there was a massive police cordon around it as the procession was passing right in front of it!

You can change the home country by touching the 'Where to?' icon, then 'Address' and this will allow you to change the country.

    Hope this helps

I've found Garmin UK (0808 238 0000) to be very helpful with help in solving problems.
