Days out for kids in South Wales?

Can anyone suggest some day out ideas in the South Wales area that would entertain an 11, 5 and 3 year old?
Not going to cinema - 5 and 3 year old won't sit still for longer than 10 minutes!
Rain or shine ideas welcome
But being Wales, it'll probably be raining.
Thank you!

South Wales is a big place - give us a clue
If you are in the end of Wales nearest the bridge then look at Big Pit, the Caerleon Roman museum and St fagans. All three are part of the national museum of wales, have activities for kids, and are free.0 -
National Showcaves - mine love it! Very hilly though, last time we went I had one in a backpack and I wasn't half puffed by the end of the day...0

Been to Folly Farm today - I moan about it because I'm a townie and, well, the smell....
:D but it is such a good day out for all ages, with the animals, play areas, fair, go karts, etc.... it's clean, plenty of toilets, places to eat/picnic, etc.. And it's pretty reasonably priced too - I think it's just under £10 for adults, which I think is much much better value than the £40-odd you have to fork out for Legoland.
JxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0 -

I've always enjoyed Oakwood over the years, and as theme parks go it's not too expensive, but the last once or twice we've been I felt it's looking a bit tired now, in need of at least a lick of paint or something. That's what I thought was good about Folly Farm, in the few years since we went last they've changed things about a bit, added afew things, kept it fresh if you like. I think Oakwood needs to do something similar, just to keep interest.
In the same locality, the Blue Lagoon is quite fun too, although possibly also in need of a little bit of tlc, depends on your viewpoint. We've always had a fun couple of hours when we've gone there in the last few years. I love sitting in the outdoor pools watching people on the tops of the big rides in Oakwood.
