hi all hope someone can help me
we are heading to wales in a couple of weeks, we both burn quite easily but as we are heading away on a budget we dont know what suncream we can get that will protect us. we are looking at factor 30+
as a guide our last holiday was berlin in november, we barely got above freezing haha
anyone aware of any decent creams at good prices or cheaper brands that work just as well? we have most major stores close by

Soltan is half price at Boots at the minute. £4.49 a bottle, or you can get 3 bottles and after sun for £12.99

depends how much you need I guess. They also do small versions of it, so perfect for handbags, I bought one for a music festival.0 -
Superdrug have very good deals at the moment, if the poster in the window I saw yesterday is anything to go by. Better than the Boots deals if I recall right.0

Depending on how long you are going for its possible to buy smaller bottles - these work out more expensive per ml but if you are only likely to use half a big bottle and then chuck the rest away it will probably be cheaper than buying a full size one. I know Tesco have Ambre Solaire kids 50 in smaller sizes, and Boots have a few different ones. Might be worth checking the forecast a few days before you go and if you are only likely to get a few fine days get a smaller size. (Having said that sometimes coasts can be clearer than inland because the sea air hasn't had time to form clouds).Adventure before Dementia!0

The 99p - £1 shops have some.I used to only buy Ambre Solaire but last year had an emergency dash & found the bart simpson suncream in the 99p - £1 shop & was every bit as good,so much so I just a few weeks ago went & stocked up for this summer [well if we have one] or if you do want a named brand I can recommend http://www.thesuncareshop.com/sun-protection.aspxIn life try to be nice to others, you never know who you are going to meet on your way down...0
