bank charges

Hi all my names mark ive just been through all my bank charges for this year and it amounts to over £300 now i cant understand this i have no diret depts no loans nothing only my mobile bill which i pay with my dept card when the bill comes i have no overdraft and only online bank (natwest).
now they are sending me overdrawn each month when they charge me £50 here last one on saturday £96 pound this isnt right to me going to phone them first thing in the morning any advice what to say because i want my money back it left me with little money over the bank holiday

    You don't give enough information, for them to charge overdraft charges you must be going overdrawn.

    What transactions are taking you below 0.00 balance? Bearing in mind you might have to go back into prior months to seem if you entered into an overdraft position previously which creates a domino effect charges.
  • I've just received a letter from Lloyds TSB stating that they were charging me £10 a day for going overdrawn because of their own charges. The letter said this would start from the 1st of June but the letter was dated the 7th of June so they were scoring for £70 before even informing me ! I rang them straight away and after much arguing and complaining (loudly) they agreed to refund the charges immediately. Just goes to show it pays to complain ASAP.
