Business account and collection debt

Can anyone help? My husband was diagnosed with cancer and has his own business. The accountant has filed dormant accounts and his business overdraft has continued,he isn't fit to work anymore and we have now been told the bank won't renew it and we have been contacted by the collection department.
It's a limited company but he has signed a personal guarantee,I have enduring power of attorney. They are asking for income/expenditure forms completing we have offered a monthly amount from our personal funds.
The problem is if they don't accept our offer all our personal joint accounts are with them too and they are saying they will close all the accounts even though I'm not liable for the debt as they are joint they will close them all!
Can anyone help I really don't know what to do?
