Help with Friends Provident Endowment Please

I've been scouring this forum and could do with some advice please. I've had an endowment with Friends Provident since 1992 and was wondering whether to surrender it/sell it/ leave it going.
Although the cash would be nice, I don't need it, so leaving it going isn't a problem. Would it be better to sell it/surrender it and re-invest elsewhere?
Details:
Start Date: 20 Aug 1992
End Date: 20 Aug 2017
Target Amount/Life Cover/Critical Illness: £20,000
Monthly Payments: £26.73
Amount Paid in: £4704.48
Cash in Value 13/03/2007: £5442.35
Predicted End Date Value:
@ 4% growth = £11,200
@ 5.5% growth = £12,900
@ 8% growth = £16,200
I've also asked surrenda-link if they're interested in buying it.
Thanks for any advice you can give
Steve

If you cashed it in and put it on deposit at a net 4.5% to maturity, also paying in the premiums, you would end up with 12,524.If you invested the money instead of saving it, and achieved a standard growth rate of 7%, you would end up with 15,350.Of course if you chose a high quality investment you could get much more than that.
The FP WP fund is thought likely to return in the 4-5% range.Trying to keep it simple...0 -
