Safe Online Banking Abroad?

No good for portable devices over WiFi but for hotel PCs etc. I use PortableApps on a write protected USB stick
It's not the whole answer but another level of security.

Just one thought. Is it possible to get a mini statement from an atm in S.E Asia like you can in the UK? That would save me going online most of the time as I will just need to view the balance and recent transactions.

I put most of our money across a few differents savings accounts that were not accessible by card - incase either of us lost our cards or had them stolen, and then every so often transferred money into our bank account online. You could set up a standing order to do this of course.

Ill be honest I logged into our banking in internet cafes and all sorts. But we didnt have a laptop with us.

The only problem either me or my husband have ever had with a card was when his got cloned - in the UK!
