The one I used is I used water from a sprayer as a lubricate I soften it in warm water then moulded it flat and lay in on car and gentle put in on

Its worth applying polish and wax after to so you dont need to do it again with clay

The autogymn resin polish has fillers in to fill in small holes. The wax whilst £25 will last years a very little goes a long way, its a begger to get buff off but I did my car in a day thats wash properly, polish, wax I only used clay in a small area my paint works wasnt that bad. I might do whole lot one day. I use sponge disc to apply polish/wax. I also sealed the wheels with wolf sealer to stop brake dusts sticking also removes it none acid cleaner

the thing to remember is its like bird droppings eating away at the lacquer this is why i say you need to wash often

i lived near a castings factory and i came home every night to find a vehicle of mine covered in like volcanic ash and if you left it on for a week it ruined the paintwork as it weedled its way in
