Blue Nile 3-stone trellis engagement ring

Does anyone have one of these rings? I am concerned from the side profile view that the wedding band will not sit properly flush next to it, because of the trellis work at the top.

I doubt it will be different to any ring with claws, tbh. Looks unusual and pretty. Me like.

Side on view looks like it is standard width at finger level.

If you compare it to this one here (Roma), you can see the Roma has a flat ring all the way round which a wedding band could fit snugly against. But the ring profile is quite a bit higher, so a trade off.

it's a stunning setting, from what you can see it looks like a flush fit with a band would be fine. But maybe contact the retailer & ask them? at least that way you will know for sure?

You can have your wedding band made for you. Mine was made so that it sits flush with my engagement ring.

    Hello :)

I have the solitaire version of the Trellis ring

My wedding band does not sit perfectly flushed with the ring, however it's probably only 1mm out and not noticble from eye distance.

Thanks for the feedback, that's good to know, sounds like it's not something you mind about at all. Have you been happy with the ring quality and bluenile generally? It all looks very good on e-paper ....

They are all beautiful rings. Does it matter if the alignment is not perfect?

It would matter to me! It would really bother me actually, seeing that gap all the time. But I always did have an eye for details, if it doesnt bother your OH it doesnt matter, and it IS a beautiful ring..

You can get a separate wedding ring made to sit flush with the ring, it wouldnt cost more than buying off the shelf at a good jewellers..
