I just realised that you have changed this to show a maximum of 300 post history.
I think that this is a good move to protect privacy to stop people going back through other posters history just to find something they don't like, or maybe the user wouldn't want posts from way back being brought to light for lots of other reasons.- it was no doubt, done to protect your server capacity though, please tell me this is not intended to be a temporary measure.

It's been like this for a long while. A couple of years ago (could be more) I was looking for an old post of mine containing a link, but could only go back 300 posts - which at the time meant only about a week back, but that's by the by.Be careful who you open up to. That's correct. I can't be specific there's a very good reason that it works this way. It's a limitation of the software.

I thought that might be the case. This forum is HUGE and I dread to think how many posts (not just threads) there are in there! :eek:
