Hi,

Could someone please tell me if the Shell offer is still on?

Also, I am applying for an Amex card. Just wondering how long things took to come through and if I would be able to take advantage of the Shell offer if valid?

Yes, the Shell offer expires on 18th April 2013: http://goo.gl/dbTft

It normally takes around 5 working days for Amex cards to arrive in my experience so you may get lucky or just miss out.

So card has arrived. I've registered it, set-up my Foursquare A/C, synched it and downloaded the app. The Shell garage is half a mile away but when I click on "Specials" it doesn't show up (only Dominos and some others)

Any ideas?

Sorry if this has already been covered but have tried to read through quickly but with toddler and baby, I've got very little time!

Glad to hear it arrived in time.

You want to click on the Shell garage and check-in. Once you do this it should pop up saying that there's a special and whether you want to use it.

There is no Shell garage to click on. Does this mean that possibly this isn't included?

Whereabouts is the Shell station (town or postcode)? I can check to see if I can see it. You can also try and find it online to see if it's an app problem: https://foursquare.com/explore?q=shell

For some reason my Foursquare app crashes every time I change the "Near to" field but I can also see the garage and special online so I don't know what to suggest at the moment. At least you've got two days to use it!

Oh, well will try and have a look again later.

I really hope I can use it as have no petrol in the car and really wanted the discount!!
