It's just on the app but I originally saw the deal on the Amex UK Facebook page.

Going to head down to my local store today and pick up a £25 gift card and see if it goes through.

Will do! Seemed to all go through ok; got a notification from Foursquare to say I'd saved £25 shortly after I paid.

Top tip though: don't ask for the box when they offer it. Takes an age - it's like the scene from Love Actually with Rowan Atkinson.

Can you confirm the name of the page, as I not sure which Amex page you are looking at on facebook as there are a few of them.

Oddly my purchase still hasn't even appeared on my statement (Lloyds) two days later. Did anyone experience that with the last round of specials, ie discount was applied so quickly it doesn't even show as a purchase or something?

Would still hope it would but then it's not showing so...
