I realise I am intruding here but I do not think you can (legally) perform a credit check without the data subject's consent - without exception:). Or are you saying that "deemed contract" terms include that consent?

I am also puzzled that it is possible to perform a credit check without a date of birth, and in the case of a data subject having just moved to a new address, without knowledge of prior residency up to 3 years.

Your latest post raises some concerns with me, and I suspect also with Terrylw1. I thought we had already established that you cannot decline a deemed contract, or enforce entry to install a prepayment meter without a warrant.

I dare E.ON to face the consequences of applying for a warrant when the customer's (deemed) account was in good order.

    Absolutely Jalexa, and DVardysShadow.

I challenged this in a previous post because I know you can't make a site "shipper less" and their is a SLC to cover suppliers going in liquidation under the "supplier of last resort" policy.

I've recently read through the SLC's regarding domestic and business contract terms to comment on a couple of re went threads about business supplier domestic customers...and it covers this area.

It does have a clause buried at the end that says a supplier can decide they don't want a customer. But how? Its not possibl for a supplier to physically do it in the MRA or BSC processes. The old fashioned way would be to "manage" them out with very poor rates or PPM's, but try getting a warrant for this and tariffs being made uncompetitive comes along with unique scenarios with complex meter types.

I have to say after 20 minutes of being on hold to EON! I'm not too worried about not being with them anymore!
