Measure twice, cut once.
Read the instructions.
If they supply an installation manual, use it.
Invest in a long spirit level and use it a lot for both horizontal and vertical levelling, especially on the base units.
Use decent quality tools and new blades on jigsaws etc.
Take your time and don't rush things. Getting it right slowly is better than getting it wrong quickly.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
Measure 3 times in my case lol
Make sure your jigsaw is sharp lol
Mitre the worktops if possible0 -
Fill the kettle while you still have water, for tea.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

Bit late now but one of the most important things when fitting a kitchen is to make sure the cabinets are level. If for example a 2m run is 5mm out you will notice it once the doors are fitted. Also use the level to make sure the cabinet is plumb on the vertical
Get some decent levels and make sure the bubble is in the middle.0
