    Oddly enough though, there was a Supreme Court case not too long ago where the property was jointly held but one party lived there and paid the mortgage for 20 years and was granted the whole of the equity. But that may be fairly fact specific.

    How was the 20% agreement made? Sorry if this has been answered, was it a divorce settlement agreement?
