Just moved into a rented place

I've just moved into a 1 bedroom flat all on my own.. Never had to set these kind of things up before! What do I need to do? I believe the previous tenants used Southern Electric, but not certain! HELP!

First, read all the meters and record the readings. Make sure the landlord/agent has the same numbers.
Don't forget the water meter if there is one.This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0 -
If you have prepay meters you will have to contact the suppliers to send you a new key for the elec and a card for the gas. reading on electric meter is on "G " total kwhs0
