Poor you, glad you stuck to your guns though, I personally don't think you did anything wrong and were entitled to the free bag. :T

the times voucher went thru ok but the £3 from mag wouldnt (as ive seen on here before. i said i didnt say on the voucher i cant use it. but they said no you cant use it , you need to get something else or we will have to take the bag back. so i said ok ,i'll pay for it. that came to just under £5.00 so added a choc bar to get another no 7 voucher.


now i had 4 no 7 vouchers and i got 2 trimmers and 2 bags from a reduced stand . these are little handled bags with lipsticks all on them but thought they looked good as lots of goodies inside , so got two of them.

on the bus home i sat thinkin.... what if i got into my local small boots and ask to swap the wipes for a face wash , then i could use the voucher. i told them i went to oxford got the two products but the voucher didnt work so could i swap. they said yes. the woman serving me refunded my money for the wipes and the leg cooler botonics thingy (as i didnt use the voucher there did i ). i said i would go get the wash and use the voucher. when i came back , the superviser asked to see my recipts !!!. she saw the times voucher had been used and asked for the free bag back ! i said no.

she said that i shouldnt have had the bag as i used a voucher and now only brought one sanc product. i said well take my money for this wash and ive brought two... she said no , coz you got the £13.00 product free.

i said the two sanc products went thru the till , the free bag when thru the till. i payed for the £13.00 product with a voucher and the till excepted it. i payed cash for the wipes.

Well done you fro sticking up for yourself!! Whats wrong with some of these SA's who have no people skills?? If they dont like working with people then they should get another job!! If she didnt want to be humiliated in front of her staff she shouldnt have humiliated you should she?? What goes around comes around and bites you on the bum!! Good for you, you havent done anything wrong, you go girl x:T

For any local Boots fans near me in Surrey - there are still about 10 Sanctuary pamper bags left in the Sutton store.

I've already had two and there's no room left in my cupboards now for any more toiletries. :embarasse

Thanks to this thread I have managed to pick up 2 No 7 sun products for £1 with No7 £5 voucher. Would never have known they were bogof and half price. Perfect for holiday next week.


I spotted a Sanctuary bag but it had no packaging so no barcode. What is the best way to try and get it. Have Boots magazine Sanctuary voucher - what products can I use it on - it says skin range but I struggled to find these in store.

Don't know if this is of anyone use to anyone - ROC gift set when you buy 2 ROC products. ROC gift set includes £5 off ROC product voucher.

They scanned fine, but the receipt showed that the £3 voucher comes off the skincare THEN the times voucher converts it to free, so still owed £4ish.
Oh well, it was worth a try

I redeemed my Times voucher for a SS hot cloth cleanser. I bought a couple of other things and also tried to use the £3 magazine voucher, but the till didn't accept it because the product went through as free but it didn't deduct £3 from the product value.

Can't believe what i did this afternoon, got £10 pigsback voucher today so excuse to go Bootsing. Used 'Times' voucher already on Sunday i'd only bought 1 paper, then they ran out.......anyway, went to McDonalds for a cuppa, and :cool: spied in the paper rack the Holly Grail 'Style' mag from Sunday, got it, read it (NOT) ripped Free Sanctuary bit out:eek: had cuppa replaced mag!! went to Boots, got my free product, then used my 100pt ac voucher & £3 mag voucher & pigsback for a £12.95 Sanctuary product, got 100 points and 5p change!!:T

Go search macca d's quick!!

NEWS JUST IN...

Popped into my local boots where the lady was restocking the shelf with the No7 mirrors. I asked her when the half price offer on the mirrors & other No7 electrical item's was ending,she informed me that it was supposed to be ending today but it has now been extended until the 17th April!!:D
So panic over for those who have yet to get hold of these!
I can also tell you that when i asked about the No7 pedicure set,the lady told me that these have been reordered & that they are expecting them back in! YAY!!

Forgot to say that the 17 makeup brushes are still 4.99 in Vic Centre in Notts. (not 34.00 as i put b4)

Popped into Boots when I passed to pick up something I forgot yesterday (too many vouchers melted my brain)...

Spotted the 17 makeup brushes but also noticed the writing was at a ninety degree angle to the writing on the photo posted on here, got the price checked and they were £4.99, so I reckon the 50p ones are definitely old packaging.

Was searching for hair removal cream and spotted that it was available in the Boots "Expert" range, remembered ACM had a 50pt voucher, and turned out at the till that there was also a third off "expert" products!

Couldn't believe my luck when I wandered past the No7 section and saw pink stripey boxes tucked away on a shelf almost behind the counter so grabbed one of them as I passed too.

There are bargains to be had even when you are not officially on a Bootsing mission! :rotfl:
