Tried to get the free sanctuary bag with a body wash and face wipes, but when I handed over my £5 off sanctuary skincare voucher the SA got all stroppy and said I could either have the free bag and not use the voucher, or use the voucher and not have the free bag. Boo Hoo.... I am a failed Boots Tart!!! :o Needless to say I asked her to void the sale and went for neither option!
2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead :D
  • Just got the No7 mirror - on the website it says it 'includes a replacement bulb'?? I don't seem to have one - not complaining just wondering if there's meant to be one???

Arrgghh.. just got home from bootsing trip and I'm

The max factor lady had a go at me for having a box without giving me a chance to buy anything, then she wnt and got the manager and he said same, so i said well until I leave the shop Ive not stolen anything and im not doing anything wrong am i? he had to agree and shufffled off. So I'm mooching about, looking at the MF stuff and the MF girl comes over with her boss.. and she started complaining and said well, I just dont want the security guard to stop you on the way out.. I said why would he? I pay for anything I buy.. or do you think I can't afford MF or someting? No no she says, I said well stop bullying me, oh no no I don't want you to feel bullied.. but I do I said. so she says you can have the box, just leave it with me til you finish shopping so I said you know what..... keep the bloody box, I'm not going to shop here now thanks to you. Then went and found another manager and complained about them and am going to ring customer services in the morning.. they made me feel like a thief!! everyone was looking and watching and arrgghh.. it was soo embarassing.

I've had a great day today - you have inspired me. I also dragged my sister along and she got some bargains too..

    Our haul included

    2 x No 7 aftersun BOGOF £6
    1 Blusher £7.75
    Free wrap
    Used voucher and paid £8.75

    2 x no 7 aftersun BOGOF £6
    1 eyeshadow £6.50
    Free wrap
    Used voucher and paid £7.50

2 No 7 Firming body Kits BOGOF £12.25
    Free Wrap
    Used voucher and paid £7.25

    2 No 7 Shimmering Mousse BOGOF £6
    Eyelash curler £6.99
    Free wrap
    Used voucher and paid £7.99

3 x No 7 massagers all separate transactions paid by voucher - cost Nil

And we bought a few other bits and pieces in separate transactions to maximise vouchers given.

My sister still has 3 vouchers to spend.

Sadly there were no Sanctuary bags so despite having loads of sanctuary vouchers to redeem we held off till the bags come back in stock.

The poor SA didn't know what had hit her and on a few occasions was heard to say - "I don't think that will work" but of course it did :D and we inspired her to go off and do some shopping in her break :D

Thanks for all your superb advice
It's easier to get forgiveness than to ask permission ;)

I've been bootsing all round Oxford today on my day off!
Boots on Headington hill was unispiring, so I just bought a mobile top up
Boots in Oxford city centre has the mirrors, the face massagers and a load or reduced ruby and millie cosmetics - I got two eye pencils and three lip liners in exchange for my £5 voucher. They also have Benefit sharpeners and the cosmetic bags. No mags.
Boots in the Temple Cowley shopping centre has reduced No7 face masks and a small amount of reduced men's botanics (ACM voucher for 250 points on these). They do have the mags.
But the fun really began in Oxford Retail Park Boots... they have large quantities of reduced Mens' botanics (some less than 1.50) and lots of little reduced bits that are useful for bumping the total up to get a voucher! But the best part is that they have the worlds most amazing No7 lady who offered to split up the transactions so I got more vouchers, which she then used on the next one so I got my stuff much cheaper than I'd calculated! :D
She said she thinks it's fun working out the best deals for people and does it herself too - the day before she said split one lady's shopping into eleven seperate transactions :T . She also gave me the wrap after using the voucher on one transaction and was happy to add extra points on top of this from the ACM (I'd been told in city centre that I couldn't use the points vouchers + the discount at the same time)

I've just e-mailed CS to tell them how wonderful she is :):D
