What is the best bargain for the £2 voucher ( the one you get when you spend £10)? Off to Boots tomorrow so all ideas welcome
I have been finding this voucher tough to use. Finally got some 2.50 mediterranean almond and pistachio and olive soap today for 50 p after using voucher. Soap smells lovely. Will have to stock up on this i suppose it smells good enough to eat!!
got told off by a lady for sampling hair product which was a sample as it was up on its own with no lid on and when i sprayed it an sa pounced on me and treated me like some kind of bag lady!!! Well i suppose i do lurk around boots a bit. I wrote cs to complain so will see what happens. Am going bac k tomorrow and sample everything i can just to spite her:mad::j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.0 -

I beg your pardon !!!!
What am I accused of now ?:p
Actually, whilst browsing in Boots recently, I smelt a lovely aroma, turned into the next aisle to see a 'young bag' lady sneakily testing body sprays.
They USED to always put out a sample can of each one, with a TESTER sticker on it to make it clear that these were for the customer to try. Noticed recently that they didn't have any out.....don't know if thats MY store letting standards slip, or new company policy.
Must admit sometimes this old bag does get treated dreadfully.....and I don't deserve it, honest ! :rolleyes2
I do like the sound of this new pink MF gift. I will check on the web to see if my big store is open tomorrow.0 -

well this sa today was so rude she was officious and said as she walked away they'll be washing their hair in here next.... like i had committed a cardinal sin or something. Why do some staff get so up themselves? i used to work in shop and we got badges for good service etc... still i did see somethng funny one time. two dogey old men where lifting up their t shirts and spraying copious amounts of deodrant as they exited the shop they were collared by a security guard ...who gave them a lecture about personal hygiene and made them pay for items used.:j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.0 -

Just looked at Meadowhall web site, whole place open , so yes to that one, don't know about others but I would suppose will be open Sunday hours.
boots usually do a sunday opening hours thing i think my local one shuts at four oclock. the boots website store locater is not that helpful as it does not specifically mention bank holidays. I may call in as i will be going to sainsburys to get a few bits they always have loads of reductions on bank hols:j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.0 -
I've been in boots several times and seen girls spraying body sprays like nothing on earth, messing around and applying thier makeup from testers completely, not just a little bit - literally trowel thick orange, I did notify a SA who was very thankful - apparently Boots loose quite a lot from people overdoing testers.
One instance I was there, a woman was doing ALL her makeup, mascara, concealer, foundation, lipstick, eyeliner, the works! Makes me really annoyed when people disrespect the idea of testers, think it'd be better in places sold small packs of testers - i'd happily pay a few quid to get a range of samples, perfect for handbags while on the travel!~*Cerenia*~
