but you would have had to pay postage online????
I always check on line first before buying from shops as I too find it is usually cheaper.

when i was shopping on saturday two lovely young assistants stopped me to ask what my views about boots staff and the other staff working in the store
i said most of the boots staff were lovely but the ladies on no7 counter were a bit... i didn't finish when they said it for me "bossy and stuck up" and full of themselves!
    yes i replied
they smiled, laughed and thanked me for my comments, wrote it on their survey and off they went
is this boots cs finally asking their customers what staff they have and trying to weed out the nasty, unhelpful ones (who don't do the store any favours when it comes to customer care)
lets hope we end getting greeted with smiles and politeness soon even if it is under their breathe

I wonder if it's a co-incidence, but I had an extremely helpful No 7 SA who refunded me on my "unwanted gift" and even offered and escorted me through the stock room to use their lift to get up to the second floor as I had baby & buggy and they don't have a customers lift. Feeling slightly unnerved by this time I half expected to be led into a small, brightly lit room and interrogated in the ways of MSErs:eek: This was in Basingstoke and she was around 50ish, dark (quite bad facial) hair, poor thing:o . It was worth the hassle though as toys had 25% off for my sons birthdays in a couple of weeks.

Just to let you know that in the New Oxford Street there were lots of giftcards with the free pamper treatment today. Yesterday in Picadilly Circus there were also quite a few. They are difficult to spot since they are hanging near the shelves. I don't know if I will have any luck in London but I "bought" 2 for myself and db to go together (db = dear boyfriend? has this ever been used? :rotfl: ). I am bound to use the credit somehow...

Hi, has it ever happened to you to have bought something (in my case it was a perfume) instore and then realize that it was cheaper online (on the same day)? I paid with points, but I'm really upset about this. Should I call CS or return to the store and complain? Do you think either will make a difference?
    Thanks for this.
This happend to me one of the few times I bought perfume in store on the spur of the moment ( the 50ml was the same price online as the 30ml i bought instore plus you got a free gift).I didnt phonecutomer services I just took it back unopened with my reciept and said it was cheaper on the web.No problem they refunded my points back on my card. Its no problem if you have the reciept they just sell it again .
Im very suprised boots dont seem to be having double points for the easter weekend they usually do an easter promotion- no discounted choccie vouchers this year. Instead we get vouchers for £ 2 off smelling ! not very eastery.

I noticed today that there were some cards that you put money on to spend in Boots, and you get a free pampering treatment if you put at least £20 on there.

Does anyone know where there's a list of the pampering places? It might be worth getting a "gift" for myself!! ;)
