Fair enough but the same could be said for some of the experiences I've had with English people. No offence taken - just for the record my grandparents came here after the second world war and we are the 'original' Poles from that time. The new emigration are brought up differently. Didn't mean to get on my high horse - sorry!

    Very good!

Actually we're taking the children from my school to Llududno in may for a week! I'm a teacher and we're staying at the hotel by the railway station. We went last year and loved it despite having 42 10/11 year old children with us.:A

I was being stupid we're staying in Deganwy and the hotel is by the same name. We do however spend most of the time in and around Lladudno. We're going mid may after the year 6 SATs. Never mind.:hello:

Yep, that's the one. It's apparently haunted. Some kids last year refused to sleep in their room after the first night as they said they heard people walking in their room and sitting on their beds! I wouldn't recommend spending that much time with 42 kids regardless which hotel!

I suppose we better get back to Boots talk.:T

  • I will be going to boots tomorrow, and will be getting the advantage card.

Is it something that is instant (that you pick up the leaflet with the card attached, and you fill it out and the casheir swipes) or, do you fill the form out and get the card in the post?

Are there any offers I can use when I go in tomorrow? I have no vouchers.

Is there a free in store magazine with vouchers I should pick up first?

I see in the first post that there is a MF GWP little bag, a no7 gift bag and MF brushes available, do I just pick these up and with the other purchases go to a cashier and they go therough as £0? This seems too easy.

I actually want self tanning cream/lotion stuff (not beauty orientated, but keen to learn).

I only ever have gone into boots for paracetamol in the past, and got a few bits of No7 make up.
