    Hi all,
Been away since Monday and have missed about 50 pages of posts. Will try to trawl through them but can anyone give me a quick update on any new offers/glitches. Read through some but I've not received a mailshot from Boots. Read about the straighten stuff, is this reduced to £9.99 nationally and does it work with the mag voucher and parenting voucher together.
Sorry, will stop babbling now but still have 4 x £5 vouchers to use so any help much appreciated.

Thanks Ragtimeplayer! I hope to learn a lot from this thread, to think of all the money I've wasted by not reading this!!
I have the 250 poins voucher for H.Quench, are those any good or am I better off sticking to Oil of Olay? Also, I joined Lovefilm, watched six films, cancelled after that, and got a 10 pounds boots voucher on the post! Highly recommended in case someone out there has not done it yet! ;-)
We'll, I'm off to "get pregnant"!

At least with all the virtual pregnancy's that are happening we don't have to put up with the crying in 9 months time! although there are going to be a lot of unwanted huggies vouchers floating around come september me thinks!:p
:hello:  It's official I'm addicted to Boots - the total on my Advantage Card has gone over £300  :hello:

Just bought loads of self-tanning stuff:

2 x No7 Quick Dry Body Spray was £11.50 each now £1.50 each
2 x Quick dry Foam was £11.50 each now £1.50 each
2 x Smooth on Bronzer was £11.50 each now £1.50 each

in theory costing £9 but however the 342 worked so it came to only £6 and I had a £5 voucher so I paid £1 saving in total £68 :j

My Boots has loads of no7 sun creams and self tan stuff and it's all at £1.50 and on 342 (lovely SA checked it all for me first and made sure I got my Boots points and gave me a few free samples of perfume)

Hi all I hope someone can help. I tried returning some No 7 suncream (failed 6 for 1 attempt) today, with my receipt, and told it was cosmetics and I couldn't return it by the No 7 lady and at another till. Has anyone ever successfully returned it? \worth a call to Cs to complain?

Also saw the vouchers for 100 points on any No 7 moisturiser on the No 7 desk, so picked up 4!

I overheard the woman ahead asking about Protect and Perfect, which was sold out, and the No 7 woman said that the Replace and Rewind or whatever it's called is exactly the same, if not better. Not sure if that's true. Anyway I had 5 of the 5ml P&P from the Lipstick bags which I ebayed for £4 each, worth doing if you aren't going to use them.

Its free with the Age Rewind foundation and has a protect & perfect serum sample in it.
There is an article in the Daily Mail re Boots shelves being cleared of the product & mentions customers(E.Bayers or MSErs?) racing around stores to get the last bottle on the shelf. Boots are saying they are hoping to get daily deliveries to most stores to keep up with demand.

    BAH!

Boots plans scuppered by dozy male SA :( got a sanctuary something or other (free with times voucher), and a reduced ROC item (had £5 off voucher). Managed to use voucher against the reduced ROC on wednesday, AND still get a free gift. However today he scanned it at full price, so i had to point out 4 times that it was reduced... so then he cancelled it, which left the till at minus £5 (both vouchers had scanned). Then he got confused. Then he needed the manager to hold his hand. Waited 10mins for manager to be found, then he voids my sale and removes vouchers from till and wanders off to investigate. Another 10mins... he comes back "sorry you cant use it against a reduced item" (dratt)... "but i did a similar transaction on Wednesday (hopeful look)"... "i cannot sell you this item with the voucher".

Grr. Oh well, got voucher back, made him sign it to say it wasn't void (it was already crossed out) and left item. He then had to rescan the sanctuary item, and it was hilarious watching him read every speck of info on the times voucher incase it couldn't be used, then chk against product, then voucher... read read read.... :rotfl:... i stood there smiling as he gave me the total of £0.00.

I'll be back for that reduced item.... shhh!

I used the 750 extra points voucher from the parenting club today to buy 2 lipglosses from clinique and it kept beeping on the till, saying minimum requirements not met. this happened to anyone else? The SA had to go and find a boots manager who studied the voucher kept repeating the sentence "a combination of cosmetics or skincare", couldnt work out if it meant I had to buy one skincare as well. She added the points on manually in the end...thank god or I would have "changed my mind".

I'm afraid that the 750 points voucher is another one that won't scan through the till, it has to be manually added. I used mine with two Clinique items the other day and also slipped in a double points voucher which scanned fine but had to get the other one added by Supervisor. It makes it difficult to use with any other offer as when it bleeps it just gives the SA an excuse to say that that's why it's not working.
