Hi,
some of you have mentioned that you've returned Nº7 suncare on account of sensitive skin. I purchased a lot of suncare for myself and my mum, but have not tried any  , since I was planning on opening them closer to the summer. Has anyone had problems with the suncare from Nº 7 (body and face)? Please let me know and I will start using it to check I have no problem.
Thanks.
ps: I know the sensitive skin line is an excuse most of the time, but if there is any truth, please tell me.
my sister has very sensitive skin, and she usually tests things on a small area of her skin and waits either 24/48 hours to see if she reacts to them. She doesnt use no7 anyway as she only uses totally fragrance free/allergy free products that usually cost alot more but she feels happier.
I would recommend that you open one bottle and do a skin test and see how you get on. However, i think that if you did leave it nearer to the summer and reacted you could still return them so its your call! All men hear is blah, blah, blah, blah, SEX, blah, blah, blah, FOOD, blah, blah, blah, BEER:wall:0 -
to everyone with parenting vouchers that say free product up to 16, please check your receipt as one of my ones only took 5 pounds off a 16.00 item! whereas i was entitled to it free.
what have you lot been getting with your parenting vouchers, i have the mirrors and facial saunas and a few pretect and perfect serums from when they worked, hydroquench sauna mask and a refine/rewind serum.
Any Ideas?......................Please don't say suncream! :rotfl::rotfl:coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there(meaning under the buggy lol):D0 -
BAD Boots Day today! Got two reduced No7 Aftersun mouse, labelled at £4.75 each. Sanctuary Skincare Wipes, and Boots camera on bogof.
S/A wouldn't put thru Suncare together if using a £5 voucher, as 'not to be used with any other offer', but told me not to worry, I could buy the second one with the voucher I would receive from these purchases. (I said I had bought on bogof before with voucher to which she conferred with S/A no2 who said 'memo from head office to decline in future!).
Next was bogof Camera ...not allowed on bogof if using a parenting club voucher as 'not to be used with any other offer'. Deep sigh!
Next was Sanctuary wipes. "computer says NO"...!!!! What she actually said was 'the till is saying you haven't met the criteria to use the £3 voucher..sorry.' This is where I did disagree!!! I told her I had bought them before, and it doesn't state anywhere on the voucher 'excludes wipes'?
She sat, stared at me, stared at the Wipes and voucher, and asked me what I wanted to do?!!! Stated my case again. She consulted S/A no2 again, who said, well if the till says NO, then its not possible.
Stalemate! 15 people building up in queue behind me now!
Eventually went away to find Supervisor, and came back 5 mins later to over-ride till!
If so much faith is put on 'what the till says'...then she should've tried my other two efforts at moneysaving, and let me be triumphant!!
To top it all, she said, 'ohhh don't forget your other aftersun with the voucher', swiped it through in a flash, bagged it and sent me on my way!
Alarms went off, she hadn't removed any security tabs.
Upon checking 1st receipt, charged me £6 instead of £4.75 for aftersun!
Blimey! Giving FSq a miss for a while! Wonder if she is a 'mole' on this thread?!makinprogress0 -
I've never had any problems with No 7 , have been using it for years.
Max Factor is one i cannot use though.........am itching in seconds
I used to use a lot of Almay skincare but Boots seem to have stopped stocking it.....wasn't cheap either @ £8.95 for the scrub.......
Found a solution though........Designer Outlet Stores (in particular, the one at Chesterfied M1/A38) have a Revlon shop. Almay is part of Revlon...... I now pay £2.69 for the same thing Boots was charging me £8.95 :rotfl: :rotfl:Autism Mum Survival Kit: Duct tape, Polyfilla, WD40, Batteries (lots of),various chargers, vats of coffee, bacon & wine.0 -

can i ask what did you buy with the parenting voucher that it only took 5.00 off. would it be possible for a list of items to be made that will not use the parenting voucher to its full effect. the only items i know it can be used on is the mirror and facial sauna thanks0 -

The No. 7 Uplifting cream at £15.00 worked for me with the parenting voucher - got it free! :T0 -
The protect & refine serum at £16.50 didnt work - I think it is cosmetic/ beauty items over £16 that arent working- but other ops might be able to confirm this.0

It only took £5 off the No7 eye gel/cream - It's the one that's £17 one tube blue gel, one tube white lotion HTH0
