    re £16.00 parenting voucher
i tried to get her the mirror, the one reduced at £19.99 was willing to put money toward was told by no 7 sa no way!! then tried to buy the compact makeup mirror £15.00 was told by another till no way!! has to be one item from no7 makeup counter upto the price of £16.00 not including gift sets or other items. is this right?

In theory yes, it's right. But they do scan so just keep trying.

If I get an SA who notices the voucher is worth one product up to the value of £16 and says my item is more expensive, I just ask if they will scan it and see if it will let me pay the difference. Of course, it does scan but takes off the full amount... If they notice that and say its taken off too much, I wait til they start faffing about and then I just say "Can I have the voucher back please? I'll leave I'll it until another day when I have more time to browse for something else" :D Then just try another store another day with the item I really want.

It's better to buy with other items to try and disguise the glitch if you can and if you're handing over quite a few coupons - eg free camera voucher (don't forget to get 2 of the £8.99 ones they are on BOGOF) with points vouchers, £2 & £3 off sanctuary they often give up trying to work out where its gone wrong and let you have the stuff without looking into it any further.

I have used this a few times and never had a problem with the £2 voucher, its the £3 mag voucher that seems to be not working on some tills.the £2 one should kick in with the bag as its classed as bathing and that voucher is for £2 off £10 spend on bathing...I think...not got any left to look at.

I've had no luck at all using ANY of the Sanctuary vouchers in the Stirling store, not even the extra points vouchers (trying a variety of combinations of products). The tills just won't allow them to be used in conjunction with the bag offer. However, another store I tried allowed them no problem and they had loads of reduced stuff too. Bizarre.

I managed to pick up two No7 burgundy bags for £1.50 last week and they had loads of mens Botanics for 50p but when I went back to get more (with an armful of 250pt vouchers) some MSE-er had cleared the shelf. Sulk! :p
If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor...

Works on the biggie sharpeners - Add 2 sharpeners , they automatically add 500 points per 2 sharpeners but you only get free gift added per order. Not one per every 2 items.
This is the free gift http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1083699

Might be one to add when you need to take an order over the free delivery threshold :)

    Fab!!! thanks a lot.
  • Try reduced skincare up to £15 for wrap&then hand over £5 R&M voucher,or buy the NO7 you've vouchers for upto & do same..higher priced NO7 electrics for the parenting £5 voucher & a wrap(hand over freebies before vouchers& go on saturday, look for a young un & a Q!!).Somebody posted that huggies bag goes thru free or with trial pack swimmers & that free bag might count as your bathing product for the 3 or 4 voucher sanctuary glitch.Don't know if botanics bathing counts as luxury but naked does;its on BOGOF so even more bang for your buck..there's a free gift for lancome so you could use 750 point voucher on that or estee who are offering 500 points on 2 items(not a sharpener cos i tried that in debenhams for the gift there heh heh).Ladies,i think you've taught me well,i've just not tried all of it yet,i'm chicken!!Everybody is so kind tho,THANKYOU!!!

Can someone advise me on the best way to spend my vouchers?

    3 x £5 off No7 or Ruby & Millie
£2 off £10 spend on luxury bathing range
    £3 off Sanctuary skincare purchase
250 points No7 Hydra Quench skincare range
200 points Sanctuary skincare product (from ACM)
250 points on £10 spend on Botanics Bathing product (from ACM)
150 points on No7 Really Reviving Body Spritz
Free Huggies changing bag with nappies purchase (parenting club)
Little book of treats and little book of coupons (parenting club)
    Vouchers from new Boots magazine.

The only shopping I have to do is buying Mothers Day cards (will probably spend over £5 and get another voucher and wonder what to spend that on too!)

I had better mention that I am not pregnant, and joined the Parenting Club after reading this thread. :o God, the things people do to get a bargain (thank you all) !!!!

Ive done 3 example transactions for you to think about here... No doubt others will be along with ideas too.

    Transaction No1
Use one of the £5 No7 vouchers with 250 points Hydroquench voucher and get a Hydroquench sauna mask will cost you £4.50 in cash, combine this with your Mother’s day card and get another £5 no7 voucher :D
Total cost £4.50 & 250 points back on card

    Transaction No2

Get a No7 Really reviving skin spritz £9.75 – Use 150 points voucher & £5 off, total to pay £4.75 (add something low value to take spend over £5 if you want another voucher?!)- BUT if you get this in same transaction above you could probably wangle a free wrap as well but you would only be able to use ONE of the £5 off vouchers meaning you’d be paying full price for the Spritz.
Total cost £4.75 & 150 points back on card
(add something low value to take spend over £5 if you want another voucher?!)

    Transaction No3
    Sanctuary Skincare wipes £4.95
Sanctuary Hand and Nail & cuticle cream £4.50
    Free Weekend bag.
Use 200 points voucher from ACM
£2 off Luxury bathing and £3 off Sanctuary skincare
Total cost £4.45 & 200 points back on card –again if you want another voucher back add to this to make the total more than £5

That leaves you with at least one No7 voucher (more if you make the above transactions up to £5 spend), the parenting books of treats and coupons, Free huggies bag with nappies and 250 points with £10 botanics still to play with.
  • Has anyone tried out the sanctuary wipes yet & what do they think?TIA..
