To transfer from Lloyds to Halifax you have to set upa standing order, though, right? The only other option is direct debit which is to pay off debts etc?0

No. You can make 'Immediate Faster Payments', which is far more preferable (to me at least) than risking weekends/Bank Holidays/service problems etc getting in the way when using standing orders.guitarman001 wrote: »To transfer from Lloyds to Halifax you have to set upa standing order, though, right? What does this mean please?
If you have a Halifax Clarity Credit and spend over £300 per month on it you get a reward of £5 per month. Due to the interest rate charged, I believe that you must clear the balance every month to make it worth its while.
