Yup same here, we lit the stove last night got the heating going again....so much for a summer. Might have to invest in some more wood.

Gosh my heating has been off since mid-March and never even thought of putting it back on.

Same here...it's on...When I got in yesterday the thermometer said 12 degrees. I'm not watching telly in that.

I know what you meant. We had two fires going yesterday. The gas central heating is off and isn't going back on until November.

Us old folk's always used to say 'Don't cast a clout-until May is out' maybe we are going to have to rethink that one again. We are on the south coast, Bournemouth area, and this morning was brr, bloomin cold.

Who can we blame? Osborne, Cameron,Brown, or , no I'm not going down that road :)

Not only the central heating on over the past 2 or 3 days, but also the electric blanket too.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

Now will someone please tell me where all that global warming has miraculously disappeared to? Alternatively perhaps we should blame the sudden temperature drop in the current venus transit (if you are up at 05.38 tomorrow and with clear skies it should be visible in UK) blocking out the sun.

    Cheers

I got up yesterday morning to an oven for a house. DS put heating on to dry his joggy bottoms

Heating has been off since March. Guess we're lucky living mid terrace, get the heat from both sides. And that's north of the border too.

Sat here with my shorts on, and it's comfortably cool atm.
