I have had a HumaxF-2 Fox freeview box for years. Yesterday it started having very poor signal, even on the main channels. I tried pushing the scart etc leads in better but that didn't seem to work.
So I replaced it with an old Sony D800U which had excellent picture quality (I knowthat might just be because I've redone the leads from scratch). But the picture on the TV is awfully dark through the box.
I've upped the brightness on the TV but it's not great. There aren't any such settings on the box that I can see.
Before I start buying new equipment, has anyone got any thoughts as to a) why the initial poor signal, b) why the colour isso drk, and c) solutions?
Thanks.
