Cavity wall and loft insulation

Hi Does anyone know of any company who are offering free cavity and wall insulation or are they all for people over 70 or who are on certain benefits. Or if anyones had it done can they recommend someone and what did they pay. Thank you

I suggest you start with your energy supplier, they will offer you at least a heavily subsidised cavity wall and loft installation.
Not sure what you mean by 'cavity and wall insulation?
Are you the last house in the UK not to already have loft insulation?

We had our cavity wall insulation done FOC but British Gas; we're not on benefits, pension, etc., but we could have had both cavity wall and loft if we had been.

Beware that the British Gas freebie had a limit on the size of the house to qualify as free - we're in a 3-bed semi and were just inside it, so it's likely that many people would have to pay.

Tesco do both for free for anyone.

Oh, but there are some limitations. LIke if you have over 60mm of loft insulation already there is a charge. Probably worth giving them a call though.
