    I cant believe that the shop you went to wont help.

    Go back and as someone else has said, refuse to move until it's sorted.

  • I'd definitely go back to the shop - I'd insist that it was them (on behalf of TC) that you bought off and entered into the contract with. Explain that you would love to sort it out on the phone, but you've already spent 4.5hours and are no further along in sorting it and that they need to help you.

    Yesterday was extremely busy due to most TC shops having been shut for 3 days, we couldn't even get into the queue for admin to get on hold. But as the others say this is a matter for the manager to deal with admin not you, keep pursuing this politely as you're not being unreasonable by offering to pay for the new hotel and you should get the result you're happy with.

    Hi All

    I finally got this resolved on Friday. I emailed the CEO and a director and got a call from the store as they had been authorised to make the changes. I've had to pay and extra £400 and now travelling from another airport and have extra costs for that but I'm not bothered, just relieved it got resolved.

    Its an expensive lesson learned and what an awful customer experience from TC.
