    Afternoon all

We've been to Eccleshall market this morning so nothing done so far. However we did buy about £100 of meat so I've got to attempt to fit it into the freezer - I think some may end up over my mate's!

Anyone fancy joining me for a HHC while I attempt to sort my freezer out?

Have just stopped for lunch. DS1 appeared a while ago and has been working his way through a list of jobs, cleaning in the LR. :T:D

His 18th really has been a milestone. He's turning back into a human bean. ;)

Finishing my coffee before running to catch up with JJ. :j

I have made macaroni cheese and bacon for lunch (well macaroni cheese and left over gammon) was yummy. DD declined however so the half left has been decanted (carefully) into a pyrex lasagne dish with a plastic lid and I shall freeze it when it's cold. I have a banana loaf in the oven now.

Rather pleased with the gammon - 800g was on a multibuy at Mr T - so I bought two (always has long dates) - we had one for lunch yesterday and half was left - so that made 4 portions mac cheese with bacon. Still got one sealed, too!

DD's been revising - she's now cleaning her room. She is working SO hard - I do hope it pays off - she has improved her target grades, too.

Actually, flymates, she wants a 'mum-and-daughter' day after her exams - atm we are thinking of going to Nottingham. Her friend is going to Alton Towers with her mum but I don't do certain rides so would be wasteful. Any suggestions will be considered - easy driving though so South Yorkshire/East Midlands please.

Somebody had a go at me for my 'egotistical' siggy - never meant it like that but can see it would appear so have abandoned the quotes.

I've made banana loaf today too! Great minds!

Have you thought of a mini spa day? We went to Forest Pines resort last year, lunch and two treatments, was really very nice. It's part of the Q Hotels range.

Also, take no notice of them, your sig was just fine as it was!

funny think was blue monkey was thrilled to 'be someone's siggy' and after I had those two someone else anserwed a post and said 'there's another quote for your siggy' but I couldn't squeeze a third in!

Anyway it was a couple of weeks or so ago now, I just thought I would 'wait' a while to change it;)

    Hi again,

Just feeding time at. The zoo. Had them playing upstairs this aft when they woke, as I'd started DS cupboard and was moving onto DDs. Pleased to say both are done and look fab, and lots of items exiting the building!

    [STRIKE]Clear out bathroom vanity unit / storage[/STRIKE].
Empty my cupboard, clean, organise, put clothes back (had a sort).
    [STRIKE]Sort top of DDs cupboard[/STRIKE].
    [STRIKE]Ditto DS.[/STRIKE]
    Sort spare room storage.
    Sort garage (again)

I know my challenges might not be as challenging as some, being cupboards, rather than whole rooms, but they are no less satisfying!

Have done the dailies, with kitchen reasonably tidy bar the dishes we are about to dump in there, and the floor will be done tonight. Wm and DW been on and emptied. Will see if tots will help tidy conservatory / toys r us before bath time. Might have a bath myself, tonight!!!

We've been out for the day [kiddies, Mum and I] at a Medieval Day - had a great time, I'm knackered now though. When K has finished in the kitchen I'll do the floor as its disgusting
