Mildly depressed that I have done several hours on the dining room of doom without having a visual impact!

    Positives:
I have found and utilised some of the pretty kitchen things I have bought over the years when I didn't really have a kitchen
I am an evil slave driver who ruins small boys holidays - result!

    Hi all, especially returners!

I'm in this week, started my challenge yesterday, and did the bathroom storage, and s&s bathrooms too so that's a good start. Will edit to add my challenge list as I can't remember...

Been to feed ducks this morning, and done baking, but cleaned kitchen after, so only stuff on drainer to put away. Cleaned the cooker a couple of days ago, so just the floor wants doing really.

To mil and fils tomorrow hah we an make a mess at theirs...

Thought I'd list my challenges for next week:

Clear out bathroom vanity unit / storage.
Empty my cupboard, clean, organise, put clothes back (had a sort).
    Sort top of DDs cupboard.
    Ditto DS.
    Sort spare room storage.
    Sort garage (again)

Okay dokay! I have completely decluttered all of the work surfaces in the kitchen and a HUGE hotspot in the living room. Just need to do the wiping and the sweeping once DS is up from his nap.
    DWx1
    WMx1
Dry laundry folded & put away
Colouring book & crayon explosion cleared from living room.
    Toaster decrumbed
Cranny underneath oven decrumbed and defuzzed

Took kids for a walk to the park this morning. It looked sunny, but as soon as we got there it tipped it down!!! We huddled under the climbing frame for a while, but bravely fought our way back. Actually, i practically dragged two bedraggled and highly unamused toddlers by the arms while they whinged and cried. Then lo and behold - no more rain. No rain before we went out and no rain since. Just one heavy downpour that happened to occur just as we arrived at the park and stop shortly after we returned home. Brilliant.

    Monday - kitchen

I have made macaroni cheese and bacon for lunch (well macaroni cheese and left over gammon) was yummy. DD declined however so the half left has been decanted (carefully) into a pyrex lasagne dish with a plastic lid and I shall freeze it when it's cold. I have a banana loaf in the oven now.

Rather pleased with the gammon - 800g was on a multibuy at Mr T - so I bought two (always has long dates) - we had one for lunch yesterday and half was left - so that made 4 portions mac cheese with bacon. Still got one sealed, too!

DD's been revising - she's now cleaning her room. She is working SO hard - I do hope it pays off - she has improved her target grades, too.

Actually, flymates, she wants a 'mum-and-daughter' day after her exams - atm we are thinking of going to Nottingham. Her friend is going to Alton Towers with her mum but I don't do certain rides so would be wasteful. Any suggestions will be considered - easy driving though so South Yorkshire/East Midlands please.

Somebody had a go at me for my 'egotistical' siggy - never meant it like that but can see it would appear so have abandoned the quotes.

ETA Sod 'em - they're staying - well the one I can find is...
